## A little history of the Seine

The banks of the Seine in Paris are a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the river is the thread that ties the city’s history together, from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower.

Below the Trocadéro, the Pont d’Iéna, built under Napoleon and opened in 1814, crosses the river straight to the foot of the tower. Along the quays on either side, the water, the bridges and the iron lace of the tower meet in one frame.

## A Seine elopement with the Eiffel Tower in the background

Imagine your vows by the water, the river moving gently behind you and the Eiffel Tower rising over your shoulders. It is Paris at its most romantic, and it feels like a film scene written for two.

We choose the quiet corners of the riverbank and the hour when the light is kind, so your ceremony is calm, your portraits are timeless, and the tower is always part of the story.
