Tyler waited with his back turned and the Eiffel Tower in front of him. Victoria walked up behind him, and he turned around to see her in her wedding gown for the first time. Victoria was just as certain about the feeling of the day. They did not want to spend it hosting more than a hundred people, the way a traditional American wedding would have them do. They wanted personal vows, music, their closest family beside them, and time alone together. Paris could give each part of the day its own atmosphere. The next morning, she matched with Tyler. They talked all day, he asked for her number, then asked her to meet him for a drink. Their first date was at a brewery in their beach town, where they sat at the bar talking until the restaurant closed and they were the last customers to leave. The following night, Tyler took her to a rooftop restaurant overlooking the beach. On Saturday they met again to watch a film. Soon they were going back and forth between each other’s homes almost every evening. In Victoria’s words, they quickly became inseparable. Tyler proposed on 25 October 2025. Two family guests stood beside them, enough to make the ceremony feel shared, while leaving the couple space to hear each other, move through Paris and enjoy the day at their own pace. She sent us her bridal look with a clear instruction in the subject line: do not share with the groom. On the morning, Tyler’s reaction happened on the Trocadéro, with the Eiffel Tower behind them and the city still quiet. Her gown felt traditional, playful and easy to walk through Paris in, with sheer floral sleeves, soft half-up curls and glamorous [make-up](https://elopement.paris/services/make-up-hair-artist/). In the soft light of early morning, their two guests stood close, the violinist began to play, and Victoria walked down the aisle to Tyler. Their words show why Paris meant more to them than a view. Victoria remembered coming to Paris with her mother on her thirtieth birthday and praying for someone “patient, kind and steady”. Standing in the garden with Tyler, she told him that with him, love felt “calm, certain and real”, and promised to choose him in the easy moments and in the hard ones. Tyler began by saying he knew he wanted to marry Victoria just days after meeting her. He promised to support her dreams, celebrate the highs with her, stay beside her through the lows, and never stop exploring with her. The violinist joined them there for their first dance. It gave the day a natural turn. The ceremony had belonged to the couple and their family. The first dance belonged to Victoria and Tyler alone, with the Seine moving behind them and the music carrying across the open riverbank. Her long veil caught the light and the breeze, and gave the day one of its defining images. Their chocolate cake read Forever Begins in Paris and sat on the bonnet of a white vintage car, among soft white, ivory and pink flowers. She chose the car herself: cream outside, red inside, with an old-world silhouette that suited the day, the dress and the riverside. After cutting the cake, they shared Champagne with the Eiffel Tower across the water and took a few minutes to enjoy what they had just promised each other. We understand that enthusiasm. The answer is a route where each stop adds a different feeling, rather than a race between landmarks. After the Eiffel Tower, they walked beneath the green allées of the Tuileries. The long perspective gave them space to move, laugh and take in the morning together. At La Frégate, red awnings, woven chairs, croissants and Champagne made the relaxed street scene Victoria had imagined. She changed into the second look she had planned from the start, fashion-forward, with a dramatic ruffle cape, added sunglasses, and let that side of her style take over. The café was not just another photo stop.
