Yuenkee and Qi’s story began over 12 years ago. Through life’s many phases, long-distance challenges, and personal growth, their love endured it all. They finally chose to honor that journey with an intimate elopement in Paris, that blended modern style but also traditional qi pao.
For their elopement, Yuenkee and Qi opted an elopement package that included our photography and videography by Through The Glass Paris.
Paris Elopement Ceremony with Modern Dress
Yuenkee and Qi’s spring elopement unfolded in the heart of Paris, as the first light of dawn bathed the Jardin des Tuileries. For this beautiful beginning, Yuenkee wore an elegant white gown, complete with a flowing veil and white lace gloves. Qi looked effortlessly dapper in a white suit jacket paired with classic black pants and a crisp black bow tie. Before the ceremony, the couple decided to do a first look. As the moment they saw each other for the first time, emotion overcame them. Qi’s eyes welled up as he took in his stunning bride. It was a private, heartfelt exchange set to the gentle soundtrack of birdsong and the soft rustle of morning breeze.

With a sky painted in soft hues of morning light and the garden coming alive with the freshness of spring. Furthermore lush green trees lining their path and beautiful flowers decoration at their feet. As a result, the setting was nothing short of a dream.

Their vows, spoken softly in the calm of daybreak, felt sacred in the stillness of the garden. As they said “I do,” flower petals were gently tossed in celebration.

And though it was just the two of them, their celebration was full of joy and beauty. After the ceremony, the newlyweds marked the occasion in true Parisian style: with a joyful champagne pop beneath the morning sun. It was the perfect way to toast their love and this unforgettable beginning

A Touch of Tradition in Elopement : Strolling Paris in a Pastel Qi Pao

One of the joys of an elopement is the freedom to embrace multiple looks—and Yuenkee did so effortlessly. After their sunrise vows, she then slipped into a pastel pink Qi Pao, paying homage to her traditional heritage with a modern twist in her special Paris elopement day. Now paired with pearl-adorned white heels, the look was both soft and sophisticated. Her look was a beautiful contrast against the streets of Paris. Hand in hand, Yuenkee and Qi wandered through the city, turning heads and capturing hearts.
Savoring Love in the Heart of Paris

Later in the day, the couple changed once again, this time into chic, refined ensembles that perfectly captured the spirit of celebration. Yuenkee wore a short white dress—playful yet elegant—paired once more with her ceremony veil. Qi matched the mood with a classic black suit, elevated by a meaningful detail: their wedding date embroidered subtly on the collar. A quiet, intimate touch that speaks volumes.

As the morning air carried a soft chill, a signature of late April in Paris, they paused at a charming Parisian café. Over a steaming cup of espresso and a delicate cup of tea, the newlyweds savored a quiet moment together. As the city slowly coming to life around them, then they explored the streets.
