Paris, the City of Love, has always been the perfect destination for couples seeking a memorable wedding. Among the many picturesque locations, the Eiffel Tower Terrace at Shangri-La Hotel stands out as a romantic location for couples seeking a private and intimate ceremony. What could be more mesmerizing than exchanging vows with the iconic Eiffel Tower as your backdrop?
Melody and Tyler decided to celebrate their wedding at the Shangri-La terrace and their dream came true with a purple rooftop ceremony overlooking the iconic Iron Lady!
Melody & Tyler’s Story
When Tyler set foot in a new city due to a job relocation, he imagined a fresh start, but he never expected the new girl living a few doors down, who just moved as well, to enter his life and become an important part of it! Her entrance into his life was unexpectedly perfect, and now, they complete each other.
Purple-inspired elopement decorations
Melody & Tyler opted for our “Le Coup De Folie“ package regarding their elopement, which is our ALL-Inclusive package! However, they wanted something different and unique for their decorations, something that could represent them in the best way possible. The palette’s colors were white, green, and purple. They chose the most daring color, like nobody else did before and that’s unique. For your special day, just do what you like, there are no rules to follow! If you like red, orange, or terracotta, nothing stops you from having them decorate your ceremony. You elope to Paris only once in your life right?!
Finally, the simple wedding floral arch was lovingly adorned with lush purple blooms, providing the perfect frame for the couple’s first look and ceremony. Indeed, it completed the stunning Eiffel Tower view of the terrace.
Intimate First Look
When Melody walked toward Tyler and gently touched his shoulder, he turned and gave her an astonishing look. She was so stunning dressed in her white dress that he was at a loss for words.
Our couple was experiencing an intimate moment, and the Eiffel Tower was there to witness it.
Private Ceremony at the Shangri-La Terrace
Nothing screams romance like exchanging vows with the Eiffel Tower watching. Paris is full of incredible places that enable you to do so and the Shangri-La Hotel is one of them. Melody & Tyler booked one of the best rooms in the hotel with a terrace view of the Eiffel Tower and the city of Paris. The private balcony offered them the intimacy they wanted for their elopement, and all this created an unforgettable setting.
Our beautiful couple stood hand in hand on the balcony decorated especially for them and exchanged heartfelt promises of love and commitment, sealed by a kiss. Their wedding at the Eiffel Tower terrace of Shangri-La Paris transformed their dreams into reality.
Time to celebrate with some cake and champagne!
After the romantic exchange of vows and finally getting married, it was time for the celebrations!
We arranged a small cake decorated with fresh flowers that matched the arch design and we set it on a white table decorated with purple flower compositions. On top of that, the Billecart Salmon champagne just paired perfectly with the vanilla and red fruit flavour of the cake.
Exploring the charming Shangri-La hotel
Melody & Tyler had initially planned to have a ceremony just between themselves on their private terrace. But when they saw the Shangri-La Hotel, known for its grand, golden staircase, and picturesque garden, they couldn’t resist its beauty and decided to take the celebrations outside.
The first quick walk around Paris as newly-weds
As they walked out of the hotel, we had our vintage car, which added a touch of charm, waiting for them or a tour around other Parisian destinations. They explored the Bir Hakeim Bridge, where the iron arches framed the Eiffel Tower majestically in the background. Moreover, they experienced the beauty of the city together through walks in the breathtaking Parisian streets and romantic moments at a cozy café.
All this felt even more romantic and beautiful since they were living it together! It was the perfect way to end their wedding at the Eiffel Tower terrace Shangri-La Paris in style!
