A little history of the Eiffel Tower streets

From the 7th and 16th arrondissements, some streets frame the Eiffel Tower between their buildings, so that it seems to rise at the end of the road. Built at the same time as many of the façades around it, the tower and the Haussmann streets belong to the same Paris.

Seen from a street rather than a square, the tower becomes part of everyday Paris: a café on the corner, a balcony of flowers, and the most famous monument in the world standing just beyond.
